Return of the Buckland Fiddler!

After a hiatus that lasted almost 1 full month, I am back!

School this semester is proving to be most difficult and time consuming, so this Spring my posts will be a bit fewer and far between. Hopefully they will be big fat and juicy, though!

First off......TV. What with the writers strike and everything, I was concerned that TV as we know it was going to fall on its face.....But, there are a few saving graces.

First off is the return of LOST. Season 4 is going to be big, and bad and I frankly can't wait. For more details on this, check out my previous post on the premiere.

Second is a new FOX tv show called Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. This show follows Sarah and John Connor (both played by new actors) try to stay alive following the events of Terminator 2. The pilot episode was fantastic, (which I got for FREE on iTunes) and certainly seems to herald an awesome show. Who says you need Arnold for a Terminator show?

Now to something a bit different. A movie review.

Cloverfield
rated PG-13 for violence, terror, and disturbing images

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This was one heck of a movie! Wow. The entire film is shot by hand with a camcorder, reminiscent of The Blair Witch Project. There was also no music the entire movie, and no opening credits- yet this remained really effective.

I don't want to spoil this movie, so if you don't mind a little language (there were about 30 instances of the s word) and can get past the first 10 minutes of adult content dialogue, you will be home free.

Some review huh? Or lack of?
You decide.

Signing out, as always, The Buckland Fiddler
